Strive strived - with CSS

Increase efficiency, reduce costs – with the right strategy, digital marketing can become even more profitable. Strivemedia demonstrates how switching to a proprietary CSS solution not only improves control but also delivers measurable success.

Strivemedia, a full-service online marketing agency from Switzerland, had already successfully positioned itself in the market. Google Shopping plays a central role in Strivemedia's digital marketing strategy. The running of Shopping Ads was at times done through Google, but later also through a well-known CSS third-party provider.

In this context, cost control and service quality proved to be mixed, which is why they looked for a more comprehensive solution.

To use the budget more efficiently and to increase the performance of their shopping campaigns, Strivemedia opted for its own CSS, implemented through the solution from Label Up.

The transition to a custom CSS solution was a strategically smart move for Strivemedia.

The switch to a white-label CSS solution from Label Up was remarkably simple. Without needing to adjust the existing campaign structures or the Merchant Center, Strivemedia was able to seamlessly transition to the new solution. "The process went smoothly, and thanks to the support from our partner manager Peter, all questions were addressed immediately," explains Mischa Huber, Managing Director of Strivemedia.

On average, it was possible to save 14% of the CPCs a few months after activation compared to the time without an active CSS, which would otherwise only have been achievable through an increase in the marketing budget. These savings allowed Strivemedia to get more out of their advertising spend while also increasing the profitability of the campaigns.

"With the Label Up solution, we were able to differentiate ourselves from our competitors who only use conventional Google CSS or that of an external provider. A real win for our growth."

Direct Google Shopping Support for Better Results

A decisive advantage of having its own CSS solution compared to those provided by third parties was the improved access to Google support services. Through its own CSS Center, Strivemedia was able to contact Google directly and receive assistance with questions regarding campaign performance, Merchant Center feeds, listing groups, product disapprovals, campaign setup, ad serving, and more. "With direct access to Google and support from Label Up, we were able to run campaigns more stably and significantly improve our online presence."

In addition to the improved performance, the campaigns also benefited from a more reliable and efficient management. Label Up is always there to support Strivemedia, ensuring that the collaboration not only simplified operations but also enabled long-term and sustainable optimization.

Conclusion

Switching to its own CSS solution was a strategically smart move for Strivemedia. Saving 14% on CPCs, combined with direct Google support and smooth integration, has helped the online store significantly increase the efficiency and stability of its campaigns.

Thanks to collaboration with Label Up, Strivemedia was able to fully exploit the potential of Google Shopping and further strengthen its market position. "With Label Up's solution, we were able to differentiate ourselves from our competitors who only use the conventional Google CSS or that of an external provider. A real gain for our growth," summarizes Mischa Huber.
